PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Four people have been airlifted to UAB after a train collision in Pickens County late Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff David Abston tells CBS 42 two freight trains collided. He says no one has died, but the four people airlifted were seriously injured.
The trains crashed near Wright Road close to Pickensville on an Alabama Gulf Coast Railroad track.
